Hornady 7MM-08 Rem 150GR ELD-X Ammo

Hornady ELD-X® (Extremely Low Drag eXpanding ) feature the highest ballistic coefficient and the best controlled expansion at the full range of nominal hunting distances. Though some tipped bullets are known to melt and deform due to aerodynamic heating, ELD-X bullet will not due to the advance polymer used in the construction. ELD-X bullets use the proprietary InterLock® ring in the bullet to keep the lead core and the copper jacket together for improved weight retention at ranges from 0-400 yards. Due to its conventional expanding design, and weight retention between 50-60%, the resulting wound cavities are highly lethal at all practical hunting distances.
